At Dive Grenada, we asked ourselves “what didn’t we see?” As we approached the first dive site, we were welcomed by a jumping Manta Ray! Down under there were sharks, rays, eels, lobsters, crabs, tropical fish medley, beautiful hawksbill turtle all too perfect – really spectacular. A truly pleasurable dive experience with very professional, kind, caring owners and crew!

We came to Grenada in October and hooked up with Dive Grenada, we have been thinking about the place (especially the diving and the team) since we have been back. Sat here in the milder temperatures (in other words COLD!), we thought we would give you our views on Dive Grenada. Deciding to do our Advanced Open Water on the boat ride back from the first dive site, we could not have picked a better school. Marlon and Helen are fantastic guides/instructors! Phil, Gary and Neal are very welcoming as well. Raphie is the best skipper we have ever been out with, he ensures everything is ship-shape (excuse the pun). The dives that we did were out of this world, our guides made sure we saw as much as was there to see. As instructors they were also very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We guarantee you will not want to look at any other dive school when you have dived with Dive Grenada! The Bianca C will hold a special place in our hearts, and probably Marlons too! We will be back!

We just came back from our three week holiday in Grenada where we also did our PADI Open Water Diver at Dive Grenada.

Although I am afraid of the sea I decided to do the course and see how it goes. At first I was really nervous, even in the shallow pool. Especially when it came to taking of the mask or letting go of the second stage… But Helen, who was our trainer, dealt with my fears so well, I got over all of this in the end. On my first dive in the sea I got so scared and nervous we had to start on the surface and she took me down step by step without me even noticing it. Although I cannot remember much of this first dive, I remember the sea horse we saw and some of the sculptures in the sculpture park. Luckily we did this dive once again later so I could actually take all this in finally

Surprisingly, I never even thought about quitting, despite the problems I had in the beginning. Thanks to Helen I overcame all these problems and fears and am now very proud that I am a certified Open Water Diver!

The team at Dive Grenada is so nice, I can only agree to everything that has been written here before. The equipment is in great condition, every dive is perfectly planned and (especially for Grenadian terms ) very much on time.
Our last dive was down to the wreck of Veronica L which was amazing. We saw scary Barracudas, angelfishes and moraines – just beautiful!

Just returned home from a fantastic 2 week holiday in Grenada and would like to very much praise Dive Grenada on their wonderful service. I emailed prior to my holiday asking various questions of which I received a prompt reply.
I had originally signed up for 10 dives but had such a good experience ended up doing 18!

Dive Grenada is located within The Flamboyant Hotel which is where we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Dive Grenada for ensuring that my diving experience was a brilliant one. I have dived around the world but this is by far my best experience of a dive club, totally professional with excellent customer service and satisfaction. Special thanks to Helen and Gary who I mainly dived with and your knowledge is truly excellent.

I recall mentioning to Helen that I suffer sea sickness on boat journeys, she spoke with Kojak (boat skipper) to ensure that between my 2 dives he steered the boat into calmer waters which I really appreciated.

As for dive quality the wrecks and reefs were absolutely amazing and so close to the dive club, so not too long on the boat! For me it was good that I was able to do 2 dives in the morning leaving the rest of the day free.
Dive Grenada I will definitely be back!!

Not sure if you remember me, but I got certified with you in January 2011. I just finished my advanced diving course here in Canada in a quarry (which was freezing during the deep dive). In any case, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the way you gave instructions; especially now that I’ve had a chance to compare you with other instructors. I think you both are awesome and I hope to dive with you again in the future!

We spent two glorious weeks in Grenada over Christmas & New Year 2010 / 2011 and dived with Dive Grenada every day we could. Despite some problems with visibility due to swells we were always taken to sites where there was plenty to be seen. The wrecks were spectacular – particularly the beautiful Veronica L and the majestic Bianca C – and the reefs were vibrant and colourful. Phil and Helen run a really professional operation, always willing to help and advise, and have excellent equipment and facilities, and Captain Raphie was a delight as a boat captain. We have dived in many places around the world over a number of years, but certainly plan to come back to Dive Grenada!

I vowed to myself that I would never go diving as its always something that I have been really afraid of, however after a recent trip to Grenada my partner whom already had his PADI convinced me that I should and I am SO glad I did.

The team at Dive Grenada are extremely professional and make you feel so at ease from the moment that you meet them. They realized straight away that I was apprehensive and there was no pressure from them.

Marlon took us diving and he was so wonderfully calm and relaxed and made the whole experience unthreatening and really enjoyable.

Thanks to Dive Grenada I have now found an amazing new hobby that I never would have gone through without them.

My wife & I just visited Grenada & had a great time.
Before we left home, Helen & Phil were amazingly quick with responses to our questions & with recommendations for our dive. We only dive once or twice per year, & Phil suggested a dive that matched our abilities.

Phil was amazing as a divemaster/owner. He could have palmed us off on another employee & left the better divers for himself. Instead, he went out with us; he said he enjoyed showing people the beauty of underwater Grenada.

My wife has trouble equalizing, but Phil helped her have the easiest time she has had. Also, I tend to be an air hog, but Phil had me conserving to where we had the only dive in which I ended with more air left than my wife.
Dive Grenada is just great on service.

We have just got back from our 10 day vacation in Greneda, our first visit to the island, fantastic.

A big Thank you to Phil, Helen, Gary, Kojak, Ricardo, Neil and of course Captain Rafie. For making us feel really welcome We had 10 excellent dives with Dive Grenada and there team, great fun, very safe best of both worlds , great wrecks and brilliant coral gardens. Looking forward to coming back next year to dive with you all again.

Well, as usual my dive in Grenada was made the best, by the crew at Dive Grenada. A special thanks to Gary who helped me with a troublesome mask, that could have cancelled my dive. He loaned me one of his own and the two dives went perfect. We contacted a large sea turtle as Gary blitzed thru the water like a tuna and turned the turtle for all to get an extremely close up view of this creature.Thanks again..Hope to be at Dive Grenada again soon.

Another wonderful seven days diving with Phil, Helen, Gary and Raphie. This is our third time on Grenada and and third time diving with DG’s team and it was excellent again. Very safe, but also very fun. The area has excellent dive sites and DG got us onto the right ones at the right times to see lots of marine life. I saw my first seahorse, on the Valleys, five eagle rays on the Bianca C and several nurse sharks out at Shark Reef.

We always love Grenada and our time diving with DG and I can’t recommend them highly enough. We will be back as soon as possible.

I have dived for over 25 years and never found such a fantastic and professional Dive Centre. All the staff are so knowledgeable and great fun, “Well done” Phil & Helen, you ‘probably have the best dive shop in the world’.

Just returned from a week long cruise, diving at each of the 5 islands we stoppped at. Dive Grenada was by far the best overall experience. Our divemaster Gary was the best we had, very patient and understanding. The second dive was planned to perfection allowing us to visit a wreck, reef and the underwater statues.

I Visited in the last 2 weeks of March 2010

Before arriving I had e-mailed the centre and I always received a prompt response. The dive centre is at the end of a beautiful beach and when chatting to Phil on arrival I could see that this was an organised place and booked some dives.
I cant tell you how many dive centres I have been to where you spend half the time waiting for something to happen. This did not happen at Dive Grenada.

I did four 2 tank morning trips, meet at the dive centre 8:30am kit is out for you, get it together and the boat goes out at 9:00am, no hanging about. Back from the 2nd dive by about 12:30pm, this kept the Mrs. happy and the afternoons were free to explore the wonderful island of Grenada.

I saw a Seahorse, Turtle, Nurse Sharks, Stingray, lots of Morays as well as the usual tropical reef fish, some in large shoals.

I missed the Eagle Rays and unfortunately the vis on the Bianca C was poor. (Only nature to blame on that one)
The other 7 dives were excellent, some good reefs and a couple of small wrecks, my favourite being the Veronica L at about 15m. Good vis and an abundance of life including the biggest Green Moray that I have come across.

I cant recommend Dive Grenada highly enough. All the staff were very friendly, diving was handled professionally and safely but without being too restrictive. They were also more than happy to make local recommendations on restaurants, my other holiday passion, and things to do in Grenada. Thanks to Phil, Helen and all the guys there.

If you are thinking about it, then go and see these guys and get wet, enjoy.

My wife and I just returned from a trip to Grenada. We had 11 dives with Dive Grenada and had a great experience. Owners Phil and Helen really want everyone to have a great experience diving the area. Divemasters Neil and Gary were very experienced and great to dive with. We highly recommend Dive Grenada if you are planning a trip.
